The Texas Emerging Technology Fund
In June 2005, the Texas Legislature established a Texas “Emerging Technology Fund”, with $200M of state funds to be made available over the 2006-07 fiscal years.

The North Texas RCIC
The North Texas Regional Center of Innovation and Commercialization (RCIC) acts as the regional agent for the Texas Emerging Technology Fund (ETF) Committee to identify, evaluate and provide matching funding for new technology projects
