Applications for Commercialization Awards from the Texas Emerging Technology fund will be initially received and evaluated by the North TX Regional Center for Innovation and Commercialization (“RCIC”); with the objective of selecting those best qualified to be recommended for further consideration for award at the state level. The function of the volunteer evaluators supporting this process is to read, evaluate and score the received  proposals so that they may be rank-ordered for consideration by the North TX RCIC Board of Directors, which selects the final list of proposals to be forwarded to the state level.
